We have big news for the botifarra community: the Botifarra.app beta is here. The app is fully working and ready to play: complete games against the AI or real people, on your phone and in real time. In this article we cover everything you'll find inside and how to get access.

1

The beta is live

After months of work, we've opened the doors: Botifarra.app can now be downloaded and played on iOS and Android. It's not a demo or a stripped-down version — there are complete games, with the classic match to 101 points and the quick match to 51, the free and forced modes, and the traditional contrar, recontrar and Sant Vicenç.
2

Against the AI or real people

You can play solo against bots with three difficulty levels — the hard level is powered by a neural-network AI trained specifically for botifarra that will genuinely make you sweat — or in real-time multiplayer with friends and players from anywhere. And if you're travelling or lose signal, you can also play offline: the game syncs when you're back online.
3

Compete: ELO, leagues and tournaments

Every competition mode game counts towards your ELO and moves you up the general and team leaderboards. And there's more on the way: individual and pair leagues and tournaments are coming soon.
4

Build community: friends, messages and teams

Botifarra has always been a social game, and so is the app: add friends, send them direct messages, create teams and invite anyone to the table. Our dream is for the community that grew up in bars and local festivals to have a home on mobile too.

Learn, analyse and improve

If you're starting from scratch, the interactive tutorial teaches you to play step by step. And if you already know the game, you have detailed statistics and hand-by-hand game replays to review your plays and your rivals'. All of it available in six languages.

How to get beta access

It's easy: leave your email in the form, choose whether you'll play on iOS or Android and you'll receive a TestFlight invitation or the Google Play beta link. Being a tester means trying the app before anyone else and, above all, helping us make it better: your feedback will shape the road to the official launch.
